News: I Can in the North East

We are delighted to announce the launch of two sister companies, I CAN in the UK Ltd and I CAN in the North East Community Interest Company (not-for-profit).

I CAN in the UK Ltd is an umbrella company which has been set up as a learning and skills research and development company whose mission is "to be the difference maker in the personal, family, work and spiritual lives of as many people as possible and help make a significant positive difference in the United Kingdom."

We have developed and are committed to developing a range of multi lingual, innovative and specialist learning opportunities accredited for recognising achievement through the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) in order to meet the learning needs of individuals and further develop the knowledge and skills base of many different client groups.

I CAN in the North East is our first Community Interest Company (CIC) and we are inspired to roll out nationally from region to region through I CAN Community Interest Companies.

Please get in touch if you would like to know more about how I CAN in the UK and I CAN in the North East can make a significant contribution to your targets and outcomes and assist you in making a positive difference in more people’s lives.

Objectives

To be driven by outcome and results, and not statistics and figures.

Help individuals, charities, schools, colleges, local authorities, companies, and other public and private sector organisations think outside the box and work with them to utilise the most effective approach to address the cause of the underlying problems and to be able to facilitate a dramatic and significant positive change in our culture and the way we live our day-to-day lives.

Assist particular client groups in removing labels that society has pinned on them from their past, and to take them in a new, focussed and exciting direction of where they want to be, label free, with a solid foundation and relevant skills to build a better life, leading them into education, employment or training.

Produce a transferable experience for the trainers and advisors for the continuous use and repetition of the I CAN programmes so as to enable them to have a bank of knowledge to aid them in the teaching of intangible skills and communicate this to their client groups and, therefore achieve maximum awareness, impact and coverage in order to make a significant contribution to the success of education in the United Kingdom.
